Welcome

To Chateau Rouzaud (pron. Rouz-oh)

Tucked away in the foothills of the Pyrenees it's a haven from the speed of the world. A place to have long lunches (and dinners) with jaw dropping views. Somewhere where the young (and less young) can splash around in the pool, face off over the tennis net or zip down a wire. A place with somewhere for the teenagers to escape and put the world to rights on one terrace while their parents do much the same on the other. A base from which to explore this unspoilt and independent corner of France on foot, car or by bike (the Tour de France runs close by).

An hour south from either Toulouse or Carcassonne airports on the route up to Andorra and the Spanish border, Chateau Rouzaud dates back from the 17th Century. The property is made up of the Chateau and adjoining Farmhouse with 5 double bedrooms, 4 of which are ensuite - sleeping 10, kitchen, dining room, drawing room with bar and games room. In the grounds are two fully ensuite guesthouses - The Bergerie and The Cochonerie which both sleep 2. There is also a Chapel, a heated swimming pool, tennis court, zip wire and small lake with un petit bateau to enjoy. A fine chef and hostess are also available on request.

For only a few weeks a year, it's open to you too, so If you'd like to know more or see if it's available, please contact Katie at:
